I like this game. The story is good, there is serious moment, a little bit comedy and cute moment in some places to make story more sweet, and ofcourse many hot moment that i love. I really like Grove as main character. He is strong, cool and cute, specially when he eating carrots 😊
Only 2 small things that make me not feel satisfied in this game (contain spoiler) :
1. Tuon... The blacksmith... is having s*x with other person before with Grove (lol) I feel so jealous T_T and the worst part is he keep the person in his house so he can have s*x with that twink whenever he want. Why not with meeeee... When can i have s*x with him and become his loverrrr... (Okay, sorry for my ranting. I know i must be patient, waiting for future updates. I'm just angry and jealous right now 😅)
2. Why there is no dragon that have sl¡t? There is many types of dragons in this game but no one have sl¡t? hope there will be some dragons that have it in the future.
Well, these two are linked, so that's not a huge surprise.
Here's a hint. You need to get slimed by the green slime dragons in the cave... then remove the slime using a nearby heat source... and then take the item you get to a certain person... and finally, interact with that item when it's sitting out on display.
I don't want to completely spell it out for you, so I trust you'll be able to figure it out from this. Good luck.
Now I've got every memory unlocked. Question tho, if I go into a memory that I unlocked with low corruption and then open it in the Gallery with higher corruption, does the corrution version show or does the normal one show?
The version played in the gallery will relevant to whatever corruption level you have when you enter the gallery. So if you've got a high level, it'll be the high one. If you have a lower level, it'll be the lower one.
Stupidly good. For a game that DARES to say "0.3" you have quite a bit of content to do. I can't say I'm the... main demographic for this game as I'm not exactly attracted to dudes, but this is one of those "must play" lewd games. Can't wait to see it finished!

I actually stumbled upon this game while I was surfing through itch.io. I normally don't play anything that isn't half-way done, but I'm a sucker for the latex and the art looked good so "why the hell not?". The scene's are absolutely great and the combat is pretty solid. I enjoy the extra touch of adding sex into combat with the "grapple" system.
Love the game so far I can't wait for future updates! If I may ask, what does corruption do in the game? I know in the description when you had a choice to increase your corruption to 10, I don't know the differences if it impacts any fights or so.
Corruption has various effects across the game. It can make descriptions and flavour texts and scenes more lewd, it can also unlock or slightly change the images in in some scenes, it affects the dreams that you have when you rest, and it can also both buff and debuff you in combat, as well as give more abilities to a certain set of armour.
The scenes are hot but even aside from the lewd stuff there's an engaging plot going on. What I love the most about this game is Grove's relationship with the rest of the explorers.
Grove is a lone wolf who seems burdened by past experiences with former comrades but he's seen warming up to the people around him. He's become an essential dragon in the quiet meadow camp respected by everyone. The mercenary commander confides in Grove about his culture and past. Jaler respects Grove's ability and relates to him as one of the few dragons who understands that the expansion efforts are not all glory. Rinnal is a chill bro who Grove can hang out with and Kuno looks up to Grove as a role-model of some kind.
I really hope the relationships keep developping whether they remain professional, friendly or romantic.

there is a bug where the game does'nt keep your saves after leaving TwT, rip 2 hours, but it was very fun in the meantime! very nice art style, clean and consistent! seems to be a lot more content to meander through after my lost saves TwT, amazing game anyway! ill check it out in the months to come! or however long it takes to tweak and update your lil masterpiece!
Most likely not a bug. Did you follow the download instructions and make sure to properly extract / unzip the game before playing? If you don't do that, the game can't properly write saves.
If you can confirm that you did indeed extract the game properly and your saves are still disappearing, we can look into it.

well, the game saves seems to be working now after some lil experiments (via going in n saving at a random point to see if itll come up) . but i had indeed lost my first save, i was at the point right before the cobra guy too TwT. 2-3 hours deep, though i dont know why it didnt save, i did profusely save in-game, yet when i f4'd and "x"'ed out of the game to take me a nap, i came back to nothing, simply grueling that i couldnt fight n fuck the funky snake man TwT
So you're saying that you had already properly extracted / unzipped the game beforehand, when your saves vanished? And that now they are working again just because you decided to go and check?
I apologise for being accusatory, but if there is some kind of issue that is causing saves to disappear that ISN'T related to extracting / unzipping the game, it's important we know about this.

sorry for the late reply. but yes. i extracted everything properly, but when i exited the game, my progress was wiped, so i made another save and tested some stuff, and that save didnt disappear. i dont know what happened the first time around, but id could've been a freak accident
I don't have high hope to games made from RPG Maker, the entry level is low, the Ui & Format are pretty much the same.
But this one? This one is different, I can tell the devs put a lot of efforts into the game. Despite using the same format, ever since I start playing this game, I CAN'T stop playing it till the end.
This game actually gets me excited for the day just to rush back to play and wanted for more. The last time I felt like this was playing Persona 5. It is so good that I only missed three events in the v0.308 in my entirely of my first playthrough. (I made like 90 saves, each b4 some cutscenes / new encounters)
I can't wait to seek out for more plot (& bad endings[Porn]) for the future updates of the game. Thank you for making this game

I feel like I keep going in circles TT idk how to get to the ancient tree, I feel like I missed a piece of dialogue that said where to go but I just end up around the area where two bridges are broken
Yeah, you've gone the wrong way. From the jungle campsite, you need to go to the right and then up the vines! Follow the path to the top of the waterfall, where you previously rescued the blue dragon from the river!

Did you make sure to follow the instructions included in the save file transfer guide? There's several files you need to copy across to the new version.
1. We'd prefer that you didn't spoil content in the comments since a lot of people read them, sometimes before they play the game.
2. There's a few subtle changes to dialogue throughout the game dependent on your choices, but nothing major. If you want to see it... you could always play it!
3. Fanart is welcomed, but we aren't accepting submissions for inclusion in the game. The support list is for people who help translate or aid us with technical issues.

phew! So i finally got around to finishing the available content and just, wow! the world building, the story, THE PLOT (thepornlol). I had a hard time /not/ playing it every second since i downloaded it!!
i really love games where you can do your own thing with side stories or such instead of being obligated to follow the main story and this really scratched that itch for me! I had a fun time exploring the maps and finding everything. i got so absorbed i kept forgetting to save but the bad ends had me seeking them out,,,There was the perfect balance of intriguing storyline and silly side quests! The flavour text made me chuckle. Another case of came for the porn, stayed for the plot!
I can tell a lot of love went into this. you've created such lovable characters and i like the fact that you're given a chance to advance relashionships with all of them! The little ranger has a special place in my heart♥ I cant wait to see more from you guys. Patiently waiting for the next update.

This looks to be an issue with the translated build as that 'GateBottom' text is not supposed to appear at all (it's the name of the asset, so it probably got flipped somehow). The gate is working in the current ENG build of the game so I'd suggest you play on the english build for the caves first, then switch back to the RUS build when you're past the gate.
Unfortunately we don't work on translated builds so there isn't much we can do at the moment, but I'll forward this issue to the translation team!

you need to collect the explosive powder sachel, in the crate, and then when you get sealed in the part with the crystals, put powder in barrel and activate the switch.

p.s. the game also warns you to make many save points at the beginning, so to avoid full restart, make additional saves to pre-empt any possible mistakes. (you have 99 slots available for saves).
can someone help me move my save from .307 to .308...? Id even be up for using discord for it or idk but i tried and there is no .308 folder on my PC, even after multiple redownloads
Grove v0.308 (and beyond) will be saved in a file simply named GROVE. We're trying this out to make other OS and people using the itch.io app's lives easier.
Anyway, it should definitely be there on your PC, right in the spot you selected to save it. Worse comes to worse, use your PC's search function and look for the GROVE folder. There's a save file transfer guide included in the download that'll walk you through the instructions in doing so. You should be able to manage it on your own, it's not much more than copy-pasting.
okay i dont know how but the GROVE Folder was.... transfered to my Pictures... and i dont know why. I redownloaded the game *Multiple* times and everytime the Folder got sent there Seperatly, completly seperate from the game and im super confused
So the GROVE folder is empty? It doesn't have any of the game files in it? That's... very perplexing if so.
I would recommend actually specifying a location for your download, or at the very least keeping your browser's download manager open so you can keep track of where exactly the game has been downloaded to.
If, for some reason, the game files don't download with the game itself or end up elsewhere then... something is very odd with your computer since this is the first time this error has come up. I would recommend either downloading the game via the itch.io launcher instead, or just using the search function on your computer to look for the files and where they're ending up. They should be SOMEWHERE.
i mean you could go back to blue/green slime area and farm them as your too tough now for them if you got the heavy armour (that provides health boost and DEF stat boost

Play a little bit more. After this 'morning sequence' you SHOULD get all of your stuff back. Check again after somebody tells you to "meet the Auxiliary Commander".

I just tried again, but my inventory is still cleared after the dude tells me to go see the Auxiliary Commander (right outside the inn after the morning sequence, including the beach). Moreover, I still have the "helpful mist" on me; My inventory section is empty and I cannot equip anything because no other options are available. (I can equip an armor in the armor room, and then I have an helpful mist in my inventory but I can't do anything with it)
Edit : I can send you my save file of before and after the dream if needed !

Do you mind telling me what version you are on for GROVE, and what operating system you're currently playing? We had a bug similar to this with an older Linux version that had been fixed (tested using Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS), so a bit of additional information would definitely help.
Sure ! I don't know where I could find useful info on my Grove installation, but it shows up as GROVE v0.308 in the window title, and the game is stored and launched from an external SSD. Filesystem is NTFS on the relevant partition.
As for the operating system, I am playing on an Arch Linux machine (kernel 6.1.12-zen1-1-zen), with KDE Plasma as DE and X11 for graphics. I'm not sure either of what info you would want to have here but I'll gladly give more !

Edit: I tried multiple in-game paths and they all let my inventory empty (I can still collect items afterwards but they seem to be in a different inventory than the one I had before)
Is there is a "debug" mode where more things are logged or where I could get a log file for you ?
I'm going to test the same save files on windows afterwards. Will update this comment or reply when it's done
So I did the tests on windows. I made three save files on linux:
Save file 1, made right before going to sleep (before the nightmare)
Save file 2, made during the night, in the library, right next to the library exit (after having pressed all the buttons)
Save file 3, made right after going to the beach (so without items)
I ran these saves on Windows with the same game version.
Starting from save 1, nothing interesting happened. (however my inventory was back as soon as I left the dream; I didn't need to go sip coffee or go to the beach)
Starting from save 2, I went through the library exit door and got Error: Could not restore bookmark EQUIPSTATE as it doesn't exist and couldn't continue
I just want to say that Kuno is my absolute favorite character in the game! I don't even feel sexually attracted to him but I do want to cuddle him and show affection.
Also, had a really great time playing the game! Looking forward to the next update in the future!
Found this game on a separate website and I fell in love with the art style. The combat mechanics are simple but fun and the story seems cool. I can't wait to play this!
Once again, this is one of the best games of such kind I have ever played. Words cannot explain how much I love the game. Everything is just right, and everyone in the game is just so adorable. The most recent update is definitely worth the wait, and would love to see more coming in the future.
Is there any reasonable way to earn enough to buy all of Bizz's items? I've gotten almost all the scenes and at this point I'm just curious to see what all that stuff will end up doing. Likewise, am I able to give him the old coin from the ship, considering Bizz deals in antiques?
Most of Bizz's items are simply there for flavour and don't have any function (aside from the bun trophy and the burger ingredients...), but if you're a bit of a completionist... you can either grind enemies or make use of the various coin / dice mini-games scattered around the camp! One is located within the inn during daytime, and another is located within the beach hut during nighttime.
Antiques and the such you can give it to Bizz via the 'Appraisal' function he offers when you talk to him.
If you TELL us the error message, we might be able to help you. It's not just a random string of nonsense. We should be able to figure out something from it.

im on the bandit quest and ive aquired the utility key, cell key and entrance key but i cant seem to use them? im unsure where to go after this and my supplies have run out :/ i might just be dumb but i ned some help please lol
Have you tried heading to the 'north' part of the bandit hideout? There's a second area to sneak your way through and one more key to acquire if I'm remembering rightly...!
If you have done that and got the key at the top-right of the north room... then your destination is back in the 'south' area (the first area) over to the left / west! You're looking for the bandit leader!
You've got this, I'm sure. Nothing crazy you need to do, you just need to find the place you haven't been!
ive gotten the key in the north and returned south. theres the cell door to the room with the beds but i still dont know how to get in?

edit: after a through examination of the area, i discovered that i was infact, missing a key. the gold key to unlock the cell with the prisoner XD. thanks much for the help!
Sounds like you're missing the "Skimpy Armour". To acquire it, you need to do one of two things:
During the bandit hideout section, get captured by the bandits and then escape. You'll be left with some 'tatters' that can be given to the blacksmith, which he'll then make into the armour for you.
If you missed this opportunity, you can make the tatters using the Synthesis Cauldron. You acquire this from the merchant on the far side of the slug nest, and need to give it to the wizard at the inn. Then you need to gather the materials to make the 'tatters' from enemies in the jungle, desert valley and beach cave.
In our experience it's just a case of closing and re-opening and seeing if it happens again. If it's still running into errors, make sure that you've performed these steps before running Grove:
1. Right click the GROVE zip file you downloaded
2. Use the archive utility to unzip the files.
3. Drag the GROVE app into your applications folder.

There's also a chance that an old save from before 0.2 can lead to errors like the above. If all else fails, try starting a new game and playing through to see if you still run into these crashes.

The lever should open a passage through the cells to the left. Activate it and you should be able to proceed.
If you can't see where you're supposed to go, then please provide a screenshot and I will annotate the way to go for you.
This looks to be an issue with the translated build as that 'GateBottom' text is not supposed to appear at all (it's the name of the asset, so it probably got flipped somehow). The gate is working in the current ENG build of the game so I'd suggest you play on the english build for the caves first, then switch back to the RUS build when you're past the gate.
Unfortunately we don't work on translated builds so there isn't much we can do at the moment, but I'll forward this issue to the translation team!

silver square in top right corner by the bookshelf opens the gate.
you need to collect the explosive powder sachel, in the crate, and then when you get sealed in the part with the crystals, put powder in barrel and activate the switch.

p.s. the game also warns you to make many save points at the beginning, so to avoid full restart, make additional saves to pre-empt any possible mistakes. (you have 99 slots available for saves).
can someone help me move my save from .307 to .308...? Id even be up for using discord for it or idk but i tried and there is no .308 folder on my PC, even after multiple redownloads
Grove v0.308 (and beyond) will be saved in a file simply named GROVE. We're trying this out to make other OS and people using the itch.io app's lives easier.
Anyway, it should definitely be there on your PC, right in the spot you selected to save it. Worse comes to worse, use your PC's search function and look for the GROVE folder.
There's a save file transfer guide included in the download that'll walk you through the instructions in doing so. You should be able to manage it on your own, it's not much more than copy-pasting.
okay i dont know how but the GROVE Folder was.... transfered to my Pictures... and i dont know why. I redownloaded the game *Multiple* times and everytime the Folder got sent there Seperatly, completly seperate from the game and im super confused
So the GROVE folder is empty? It doesn't have any of the game files in it? That's... very perplexing if so.
I would recommend actually specifying a location for your download, or at the very least keeping your browser's download manager open so you can keep track of where exactly the game has been downloaded to.
If, for some reason, the game files don't download with the game itself or end up elsewhere then... something is very odd with your computer since this is the first time this error has come up. I would recommend either downloading the game via the itch.io launcher instead, or just using the search function on your computer to look for the files and where they're ending up. They should be SOMEWHERE.

Play a little bit more. After this 'morning sequence' you SHOULD get all of your stuff back. Check again after somebody tells you to "meet the Auxiliary Commander".
Hey ! Thanks for the quick reply ! I just tried again, but my inventory is still cleared after the dude tells me to go see the Auxiliary Commander (right outside the inn after the morning sequence, including the beach). Moreover, I still have the "helpful mist" on me; My inventory section is empty and I cannot equip anything because no other options are available. (I can equip an armor in the armor room, and then I have an helpful mist in my inventory but I can't do anything with it)

Do you mind telling me what version you are on for GROVE, and what operating system you're currently playing? We had a bug similar to this with an older Linux version that had been fixed (tested using Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS), so a bit of additional information would definitely help.

Sure ! I don't know where I could find useful info on my Grove installation, but it shows up as GROVE v0.308 in the window title, and the game is stored and launched from an external SSD. Filesystem is NTFS on the relevant partition.
As for the operating system, I am playing on an Arch Linux machine (kernel 6.1.12-zen1-1-zen), with KDE Plasma as DE and X11 for graphics. I'm not sure either of what info you would want to have here but I'll gladly give more !

Edit: I tried multiple in-game paths and they all let my inventory empty (I can still collect items afterwards but they seem to be in a different inventory than the one I had before)

We've no plans at the moment, but you can play the game using certain emulators like JoiPlay if you really want to.

Found this game on a separate website and I fell in love with the art style. The combat mechanics are simple but fun and the story seems cool. I can't wait to play this!

The 'read-only' error indicates that you may have failed to extract the game, or have yet to place it in the applications folder.
1. Right click the GROVE zip file you downloaded
2. Use the archive utility to unzip the files.
3. Drag the GROVE app into your applications folder.

Is there any reasonable way to earn enough to buy all of Bizz's items? I've gotten almost all the scenes and at this point I'm just curious to see what all that stuff will end up doing. Likewise, am I able to give him the old coin from the ship, considering Bizz deals in antiques?
Most of Bizz's items are simply there for flavour and don't have any function (aside from the bun trophy and the burger ingredients...), but if you're a bit of a completionist... you can either grind enemies or make use of the various coin / dice mini-games scattered around the camp! One is located within the inn during daytime, and another is located within the beach hut during nighttime.
Antiques and the such you can give it to Bizz via the 'Appraisal' function he offers when you talk to him.

I did try downloading the MacOS version but when I open the game an error message pops up or the application closes by itself.
If you TELL us the error message, we might be able to help you. It's not just a random string of nonsense. We should be able to figure out something from it.

Right click (or ctrl click), and open with archive utility. I think that's the software. Once you have, drag the app into your app folder.

im on the bandit quest and ive aquired the utility key, cell key and entrance key but i cant seem to use them? im unsure where to go after this and my supplies have run out :/ i might just be dumb but i ned some help please lol
Have you tried heading to the 'north' part of the bandit hideout? There's a second area to sneak your way through and one more key to acquire if I'm remembering rightly...!
If you have done that and got the key at the top-right of the north room... then your destination is back in the 'south' area (the first area) over to the left / west! You're looking for the bandit leader!
You've got this, I'm sure. Nothing crazy you need to do, you just need to find the place you haven't been!

Sounds like you're missing the "Skimpy Armour". To acquire it, you need to do one of two things:
During the bandit hideout section, get captured by the bandits and then escape. You'll be left with some 'tatters' that can be given to the blacksmith, which he'll then make into the armour for you.
If you missed this opportunity, you can make the tatters using the Synthesis Cauldron. You acquire this from the merchant on the far side of the slug nest, and need to give it to the wizard at the inn. Then you need to gather the materials to make the 'tatters' from enemies in the jungle, desert valley and beach cave.

It is, yes. You went through it as part of one of the quests, if you remember. You jumped down a big hole by a tent.

You can get there by going straight upwards from the "northern bridge camp". Cross the bridge, and just keep going straight up.

MacOS is weird lol. The game worked in the beginning but now it refuses to run properly.
In our experience it's just a case of closing and re-opening and seeing if it happens again. If it's still running into errors, make sure that you've performed these steps before running Grove:
1. Right click the GROVE zip file you downloaded
2. Use the archive utility to unzip the files.
3. Drag the GROVE app into your applications folder.

There's also a chance that an old save from before 0.2 can lead to errors like the above. If all else fails, try starting a new game and playing through to see if you still run into these crashes.
