This game has been so amazing I appreciate all the work that went into this 😖 I do need help on a part though. I’m stuck on the moon moth man encounter. I don’t understand on what else to do in this situation other than head up into the mill and receive a game over. Please help 🙏
when he puts the Mask on you, some texts will appear, then some squares will appear on the screen you need to tap them quickly and then you will appear in his hiding place.
Y'all knocked it out of the park this update! Really enjoyed the additional scenes between the gang, as well as the awesome world building. Thanks for the hard work on this, and I'm really looking forward to the next update. That said:
(spoilers ahead)
I may have missed/forgotten a couple of things, but I seem to be a bit lost on what to do with the moondust you pick up from the top of the mill. I've reached the endscreen for this update, but I can't seem to find where the cauldron is that the wizard is referring to. Is it in the area behind him in the shop, or somewhere else?
Thank YOU for playing through, and for the positive words regarding the scenes and world-building! T'is a pleasure to know there are folks who enjoy both sides of the game~.
As for your question, the moondust can be synthesized into an item with three units... and with a certain cauldron, yes. There's a merchant on the other side of the slug den. Go all the way through, instead of heading down. He's waiting on the opposite side, and he'll give you the cauldron you need! You can still make something with the moondust and with other ingredients, so I recommend picking it up even if you missed it during the main game!
Maybe I'm missing something but the scene where Tuon pats your butt while wearing the slave outfit seems to be locked outside the gallery, since you can't get the outfit before heading down the mines. You need the cauldron to get the armor, but you can only do it after completing the jungle caverns that open the path to Bizz. Tuon leaves the settlement long before (by the time you are doing the delivery task he is already gone) and doesn't return until finishing the mines. That makes it impossible to see that exact scene outside of using the gallery. Giving him the tatters seems to do nothing in this update. He just keeps them, tells you to wait a little longer and then leaves after a few explorations.
Again, maybe I'm missing one exact point in the timeline where you can access Bizz before the jungle caverns, but I haven't found it yet.
You don't need the cauldron to get that armour. The primary way of getting it is by being captured by the bandits in the bandit hideout, and then escaping from captivity and reclaiming your gear (something that isn't missable so long as you're caught). You can then hand the materials you get to the blacksmith. And he'll make the gear for you after the desert temple.
Okay, I finally got it. The problem is that the window you have to get it from Tuon is insanely small. When you return from the desert temple you automatically rest and the next day the mailman ask you to deliver the letter to the commander upstairs. That's the only moment you have to get the armor. The moment you deliver the letter, Tuon despawns. I missed it because since you get the letter inside the Inn and have to deliver it upstairs, there's very little reason to go outside in that moment.
Ah, yes... if you're playing through a new game, there is indeed only a small window of sorts. We're going to try and add a little something to the maildrake's scene to have you go check outside and talk to the blacksmith, next time.
Thanks for the feedback. Knowing this is a bit of an issue folks are running into, we'll do our best to try and work carefully around it next time.
Oh snap. I really missed this window? I have to go so far back just to get the armor. I've made hours of progress since then thinking Tuon would come back at some point. You need to add something to the forge that lets the assistant give you the armor if you turned in the scraps and missed that tiny gap to go to Tuon.
Tuon will also come back after you complete the quest "A New Source". That's not the only chance to get the 'skimpy armour'.
But yes, we plan to add a way to get a bigger window for players to acquire this armour BEFORE doing Tuon's quest. We recognise that the current method is more than a bit obtuse.
Is it possible to get items if you’ve missed them? i kind of forgotten to talk to Kuno to get the ranger armour after saving the blacksmith and didn’t get captured by the Bandits to get the tattered apparel
This game sure has been phemonal! But now I'm trying to retreive the captive dragon's gear, and the green box won't open when clicked on. Tried reloading several saves... but now it looks like I'm stuck.
Clicking on it can cause some navigational issues, due to the camera zoom-in.
Click controls DO work about 85% of the time, but due to the nature of some of the events and cameras and things in our game, we can't promise they work all of the time. Just some limits of the engine we can't overcome.
You should be able to go up to it using regular arrow key movement. And also double-check you're on the latest hotfix v0.307 as opening the chest from the side can sometimes cause you to get stuck too.
I updated to .307, did the fight again and then carefully manuevered right in front of the green box using the arrow keys. Clicking on the green box made Grove move to the edge of the screen to the left.
Not sure what else to try now. But I do appreciate the response!
Oh, I think you took my comment a bit too directly. When I say use the arrow keys to move up to the box... I also mean using them to collect what's inside too. Use the Enter button to just open the chest.
Sorry, like I said, click controls can be a bit spotty at times due to the nature of the engine. You're just going to have to use the keyboard input here, walk up to it with arrows and press enter.
All of my item is gone after nightmare, The only thing left is a item called "helpful mist", It this a bug or just designed this way? Because I got no weapon now, And I found that forgemaster in the northern settlement, But he won't sell anything to me...(Sorry for my english, I used translator)
If you were captured by a big insect at night-time, then this is intentional! You can use the "mist" to help escape from your abductor if he finds you! Look for a way to escape and find your weapons!
The forgemaster will sell things to you the day after he returns. He needs some time to prepare his stock.
This update was amazing! Already finished it and love the new additions as well as some of the changes i noticed! I would love to see a scene with the tentacle plants you can find in some of the corruption zones, I'm already planning on playing through the game with the high corruption level just to see if i notice any changes or anything! Looking forward to more! Incredible job!
The changes aren't super dramatic, but we think you'll notice a few fun things here and there if you do plan on going for a high corruption playthrough!
Otherwise, thank you very much for the positive words regarding the update!
Loved everything about this update! Still hoping for a rather fat/obese enemy that uses their heft to their advantage during the struggle portions sometime. That'd just be the massive icing on the cake for me! Loved all the encounters. ^^
I love this game so much, been on for too long, haven't slept going through the new update. But I am at the mine bats currently, and every time I try to present myself and the enemy goes through the dialogue, the game crashes. Any idea why?
I believe I figured it out. It was an error with the saves. I think I was out of storage on my computer and it was bugging the saves. I will try to screenshot if it happens again.
It wont open on mac, i just get an uknown error page and it wont let me play. i tried opening and closing but it didnt work, not even redownload worked. can anyone help
1. Extract the PC (windows) game folder (GROVE_0.307) onto the desktop.
2. Download the normal version of NW.js (https://nwjs.io/) and transfer the app to Applications. Make sure to grant it permissions under the Privacy and Security setting after trying to open it.
3. In terminal, launch the game with this command (substitute your Mac username for NAME): open -n -a nwjs --args "/Users/NAME/Desktop/Grove_0.307"
Hey, sorry but we don't own Macs to test this method, so there isn't much we can do....
- Did you download the WINDOWS version of Grove v0.307?
- Have you made sure to download the 'Normal' version of NW.js?
- Did you make sure to extract the contents of the Grove folder so that it's not being run from the zip folder?
- Did you make sure the extracted folder of Grove is on the DESKTOP on your computer?
- Did you make sure that you typed in the command exactly as is, but have replaced the '/NAME/' section with your computer's account name?
If it's none of those issues... unfortunately you may need to look into programs like "Wine" (search up WIneHQ), and use an emulator. Sorry there isn't much else we can do to help....
Nah, you're a solid level for it, as long as you have been buying upgraded weapons.
The red slimes hit hard if you use fire on them, but fire does a lot of damage... try and save that for a final blow! Try inflicting Bleed or Stun on them with your Sigil Abilities too! Pure damage isn't always the way. Otherwise, make sure to watch your HP, and heal up as you need. Don't forget about the Strip ability. Having a good stock of healing items will help too... and there's a semi-hidden one in the room just before the Underworld if you look carefully.
Heyo, its me again with my terrible fighting skills
Currently on the slime cavern task and ive fought the first dragon, but now im stuck on 20hp with 10 stamina and ive already collected the hidden vigour flask.
Ooof... if you're low on healing items, you might have to go back to the Inn and stock up. Don't forget to stock up whenever you're back at the Quiet Meadow. No sense having your Gold burning a hole in your pocket.
You CAN try and risk running back to the Inn if you want... or it might be better to reload a past save and buy up beforehand!
The main reason it's almost all scalies is 'cause... that's what we as devs like the most! That and anthro furry games tend to usually focus on big fuzzy wolves and whatnot, so... something different for a change!
There's probably other races out there, though! You might even meet them in the future, potentially. For now though I'm glad you enjoy all the lore and world-building! Hope you'll continue to look into things, examine things, and stick around for future updates!
Nearly done my second playthrough starting over after .204 and I find it hilarious that there are multiple bosses and enemies that will take me a few tries to get past, having *nothing* to do with difficulty and everything to with being unable to resist seeing their excellently-made grapple CG sets and accompanying texts through once they've started. I'm beginning to think it's MY corruption levels that are increasing :P
I can't get specific for spoilery reasons but there's a new boss with little helpers, and those little miscreants ruined the grapple CG progression the first time I fought 'em! Halfway through, one of them did one of their attacks whilst poor Grove was "knocked out" with 0 HP and it forced the post-defeat scene to start. This is hardly a bug or anything, easily solved by whomping the little guys before being... uh... UNINTENTIONALLY knocked down by the main baddy, but I figure you wouldn't want anything interrupting those steamy sequences(made me let out an audible "Aww..." before ALT-F4'ing lol).
Finally, I think I said as much in my review, but the amount of descriptive text is simply awesome. It's worth waiting for updates for this reason, and I highly doubt I'm the only one who presses A on Every. Single. Object. Just some of the favorites that immediately come to mind: shouting into an empty box for a reply, guards that stay vigilant during scripted events, Kuno's mushroom friends and the wealth of world-lore-stuff in the Auxiliary Commander's room.
P.S. also had a good laugh when the game, when looking into my save's corruption levels for the new content, basically said "WHOA...you're doing totally fine, buddy, no adjustment necessary"
Thanks for the big, positive writeup! It's really greatly appreciated~! It's wonderful to know you enjoy both the lewdness and also the silliness of the game, the writing and the artwork in all its ways and means, enough to want to write up both a positive comment and a kind review!
Hope we can keep impressing you, and raising our bar of quality, with the next updates!
Finished the update, it 's amazing! I really enjoy the new characters, and the development of old characters. It was a long wait, but totally worth it!
So I’m stuck on a mission and I’m wondering if anyone knows how to get past it. “Ask the wizard who runs the bar about any potential sources of titanium” where is the bar and the wizard? I’ve looked everywhere I can think of, looked for hidden doors but I can’t find this bar. Could anyone help me thanks
L'il purple guy, who is at the building labelled "Inn". Check with him, check with the blacksmith, then go to the well down at the bottom-right of the area!
yeah I’ve done that, I’ve checked in with the purple guy and then the blacksmith and then down the well but I don’t know what to do after that? I defeated all of the pink blobs and the green dragons but I don’t know what to do next. I got a key and when I go down the mine cart I see a locked door but the key does not seem to work on that door. What is the next step? Thanks
The key you got unlocks the well. You need to go down the well, and just follow the path to the end. You should be able to get into a new area called the Bandit's Hideout. No need to go back to the slime caves!
I love this game, haven't played since the 0.204 update because I didn't realize new updates were released. I needed to ask though. I restarted the game, and didn't transfer my old saves because I wanted a fresh start. But after downloading the new update and playing for a little, I had multiple saves and closed out the game. But now when I reenter the game, I can't resume and there isn't a save folder anywhere, any solutions?
I'm having some troubles, in the new quest of delivering packages someone gave me a bun-stick but I can't progress. What do I do ? I walked to the inn and nothing happenned
Teleport to the 'jungle campsite', go to the right and up the vines. You want to keep going upwards and to the right as much as you can, cross stepping stones and up more vines.
Once you reach the top of the waterfall, head left and keep jumping... you should be able to figure out the path from there!
You need to synthesize the materials for it from the Wizard at the inn. To synthesize, you need the cauldron. Hopefully you picked this up... if not, it can be found from a merchant on the other side of the slug den. Make your way back down there, and follow the path through to the other side (DON'T go back down to the core).
Synthesize the 'straps' using materials you can gather from slugs, and shambling mirages (desert valley). Take the item to the blacksmith at the camp... and he should whip something up for you right quick!
I have a quick question from earlier in the game. After I got the lever for the bridge a strage sound happens when you exit, and the door to that bar is locked. Is there a way to open it before you cross the bridge?
Heyo, found a bit of a progression-lock in the early parts of Dark places.
On the first task you can be assigned, there is a major progression-lock point where you cant win the fight with the corrupt explorer. I've tried using all my different types of weapons, items. But none of them seem to get me past this point.
If anyone knows a way to fix this, Id love to hear.
But apart from that, this is a great game. You've all done a really great job on making it. Hope you have a great day
I can promise you that the corrupt explorer is definitely beatable, and there's even a few days of doing it.
Stripping and attacking works. Stripping and then using items to stun him are even more effective. Presenting yourself and using grapple attacks will also work. And Presenting Yourself, letting him get in close, and using Resist! will even do a chunk of HP damage and lower his defenses!
Make sure not to forget about your grapple abilities, especially against lewd foes! If pure weapons and physicality won't work, you've always got that option available to you.
Loved the update. The Spider has been my favourite boss so far.
I think I'm having trouble starting the next event to happen. I check my task list and it hints to use a "hot coffee bean". I figured it was something to do with the mill at night. I've gone 3 times and ran outta beans :(. It seems like something is supposed to happen and the farmer says something's up there now, but still nothing. I thought maybe bugged, or I'm a dummy.
Anyways thanks for the game and work. Amazing!
EDIT: SORRY! I got the recent patch, bought a bean, now it works. Godbless you both and the updates!
Just to let you know, there are no language patches available for the current version of the game, and the prior versions will not work with v0.3.
If you're wanting translations for the new content, you'll have to be patient for a while longer. We'll make announcements when they are available (currently working on French, Japanese, Chinese and maybe Russian).
I can help with Russian translation,if you interested, but it may not be very accurate cos i speaking English far from master level,i can talk about non complicated things, watch video on English and read long text with only few help of a translator(but that depends on the text difficulty)
Thank you for offering to help with the translation. We have two volunteers working on it right now, but if they need a third person to help I will let you know.
Another amazing update! Again I'm impressed with how much I enjoyed the writing and the visuals of the game and it's scenes.
This time you spent some more time fleshing out characters and I liked it a lot, having the new little bonding with Rinnal, Kuno, Jaler and the desert guy I can't ever remember its name (sorry!) were pretty good and made me even more interested in them, I really want to know more about Rinnal.
And all writing was on point, specially on the lewd scenes, the description of the touches, approaches, materials, sensations and reactions were as good as the scenes were, in some scenes it sold the scene even more, like the Cave Overseer grapple text, that was very hot.
Now the visuals, the stretchy and sticky was all over the place and I love it, the cave slugs and it's golem scenes were so good, how you are bound to the wall and the aftermath of it, the jellyfish and its wrapping appendage, the red dragon slime and how he stretches on the second step of the grapple, THE SPIDER with the hottest grapple and after scene, the Moth with the many outcomes, the enthralled adventurer and all its grapple variations plus his misadventures later... Even the bats that is not on my "preferences" were cool, The buff bats were awesome though.
Now the mechanics, I saw that you made strides to make enemies that had different fight mechanics, the enthralled adventurer were the prime example, fighting and grapple unique mechanics, the jellyfish also had the electric counter and attacks, the minions on the cave overseer and so on. Another great thing was the quest system, although a bit restrictive, as it locks you inside its objectives, it makes clear your objectives and its easier to spot points to stop playing and return later, without feeling lost.
Ok... Now ill talk about some opinions of mine of what I felt like missing in the game, as always I respect your choices and creative process, just giving some insight on some points from the game:
At the same time you spent more time on game mechanics you didn't add anything to the old mechanics, no new weapons and armors, although you added new accessories (and good ones too), I missed getting new weapons ant their added skills and new armors.
Talking about the armors, I was betting we were going to get some armors based on the two bugs we fought, since each one of them had an "attachment" to Grove, being one the chitin appendages from the cave overseer and the cocoon wraps from the treetop Moth sequence, maybe even some variance of the enthralled adventurer design, with some help from Wizz and maybe his brother, but sadly they only exist in my mind x.x .
Lastly, and probably the more personal preference opinions, you go all the distance to make some pretty awesome scenes, but i felt like you missed some details on some grapples, the webs from the spider boss was a bit weak in comparison with the mummy bandages and the slime suit, the red dragon slime also looked like it was just an afterthought with the mitts, but thinking about it right now, I am understanding that its to ease producing the scenes using some established assets. I also felt like you missed the chance to show grove exiting the moth cocoon, I know you added some first person scenes in this update with the cocoon and the buff bat scene, but though all the game we see Grove as the target, and even though I also love the first person scenes, but I also wanted to see Grove in the predicament. Lastly, I though for a second that after losing to the bat twinks you would be jailed with a buff bat and have to fight him too, but no buff bat fight ever happened, sadly.
Alright, thank you for attending my TED talk. And once again THANK YOU for another amazing update, gave the game five stars already and will be waiting qazm update on it's guide to check the high corruption scenes.
We decided early on that there would be no new weapons of armour in this update. We wanted to make the combat encounters a bit different, and we wanted people to find builds that they enjoyed and put them through each quest, using the stuff they already had. We fully intend to add some more gear in the next update though!
Sorry that you didn't quite like the first-person perspective scenes as much! I'm afraid that's something we just have to try and do our best to balance, and we can't always appeal to everyone's preferences. The spider webs and the mitts... this might sound like a funny problem, bondage elements in battle grapples can be just as restrictive for us as for the player! We like to have a good amount of motion or extra details added in each new grapple phase so it's obvious there is a sense of progression for players to follow, and so the scenes do not just feel like lazy facial expression changes. BECAUSE of that... we don't want to make the bondage too restrictive, so sometimes those details might feel like they don't get enough presence. We accept the criticism though.
Otherwise thank you for the very long and generally very positive review of the game! It's much appreciated indeed, and I hope we can only continue to get better and more enjoyable in the future!
Oh, don't get me wrong, I like the first person scenes, I just feel that they could maybe have a third person scene with it, like with the buff bat than when you lose, you see him breaking out and grappling you.
Anyway, I really like your game and although my favorite part is still the Jaler part with Grove in the desert, this update is definitely the best update until now, no doubts. I shared my opinions with you but I don't want to interfere in your creative process nor I mean any disrespect in any way.
hmm i ended the dark places update and is was quite fun! now that i think about it when you said It doesn't really jive with the player character's personality or mindset the fact that grove background is a bit uknown are you guys planning to have a new game plus? i been thinking perhaps a diferent character in the same sircurstance it would give a lot of variety to the game and a good reason to replay once its been done!, another thing that i like to note its just a preference but i was hoping around an option to change the type of member the dragons have? perhaps after all, never been a big fan of the mushroom tip heh but hey! it you dont want to do that its okay! i enjoyed it nontheless hopefully when the time comes i would love to see the game in a finished state!
Maybe much later, when the game is finished, we might consider some 'special episodes' where you play as a different character. As for swapping the kind of penis the dragons have... I wouldn't count on it I'm afraid.
i honestly was thinking like a new game plus sort of scenario, where entirely new character ends up in the same situation as grove, same path same story but often the personality and scenes are diferent as well as like the "class" like a "mage" sort of character after beating the game with a bit of a diferent personality but thats much much later i do understand honestly that would require a lot of work but i think its mostly on the art and the writing since its the same sort of path in the end so a lot of stuff wouldnt be needed still i hope to see more special effects while figthing new and interesting enemys and i hope i see more mechanics related to the themes they have on themselves not sure if you accept suggestions but i got an idea of an enemy that gets an egg into grove and he just lays it mid battle making more enemys appear would be interesting like instead of the getting on and fucked is more of a extremely quick fuck and then constantly losing of tp until it reaches 0 and then getting the game over after the next atack, still its up to the dev team and the ideas you guys have so just take this as an enemy suggestion
Out of curiosity, when Grove introduces himself to the Auxiliary Commander, he nearly lets a title slip before correcting himself to 'freelancer'. Is that title found in any of the lore current found in the game or is it something that hasn't been revealed at all yet?
I think I may have found a clue after all - the unnamed soldier from the slug caves. Hmmm. Edit: As a result, I think I have a working theory about his past. If I'm right, I feel for him.
I really enjoyed this update, and wanted to say that I loved the Enthralled Explorer battle because it forces you to use the grapple mechanic, something I don't find myself using very often outside of just messing around in the gallery, post game. I also enjoyed that we got to know more about Kuno's past, and why he is the way he is. It makes me hope that someday we will find out more about Grove's past, and why his personality seems so different now compared to what we see of him in his dreams of the past. That said, thank you for all of your hard work on this project, and for sharing it with everyone here!
Thanks so much for playing and taking the time to share your thoughts! If you have a second, we'd massively appreciate an itch.io rating too...!
Otherwise though, super grateful to hear your thoughts and theories and interest in the characters! It always means a lot to know that the characters in a lewd game can stand out and keep people's interest despite all the over stuff going on! As a writer, that's a ringing endorsement indeed~
loveeeeeeeee this game from the first release and im embarrassed to ask this but is there a way to use my old save files into the newest update? i'm too lazy to start all over again. and if it's not much trouble, can you walk me through on how? i'm a little bit dumb on how to work a computer hehe
There should be a save file transfer guide in the download if you want to continue from your old saves! Take a look and follow the instructions and you should be just fine!
I have been playing this game since around v0.2 release, and I have a lot of fun with this! I highly suggest this game to everyone! Here is my feedback and comment about this game:
The story and the lore is nicely written and fun to be discovered throughout the gameplay, various character dialogues, actions and arts shows each NPC characteristic clearly! All of the character has their own charm and the carefully designed dialogues really helps the player visualize the situation (no matter it is a casual or sticky situation...)
The combat system is balanced too. It could take a few moment to understand completely or develop some of your own strategies, but it is never frustrating in each battle - even if you encounter some tough bosses. The character design and the interaction with Grove during the battle is nicely drawn (with great description!) It can be addictive to keep encountering the same creature just to re-experience the thing...
There are also various tools that can help you travel easily between places, so you don't have to go around the world and worry of getting lost, which can be handy when you are doing some specific tasks! Not to mention there are also a lot of secrets that are fun to be discovered after beating the entire game, so you will never get bored even completing the main plot!
Overall, this is definitely a game YOU should check out. Thank you so much the developers has created this game and allow us to experience the 'struggle' during Grove's adventure!
i love this game but i was wondering if you were going to make pre saves so people can get right into the new content because for some reason the game deleted my post main game save and i was just wondering if there was anyway youd make a save for recent updates.
Would it not be possible to code the game to put saves in the %appdata% folders instead of the game folder? That way you'd never have to move the saves with each successive update.

Thanks for letting me know
This game has been so amazing I appreciate all the work that went into this 😖 I do need help on a part though.
Hope this helps
(Small spoilers ahead)
Both of these items can indeed be acquired later! For the former, you just gotta help him out. For the latter... you'll need to do some synthesizing!
Hope these hints help you out!
Just wanted to make sure... I can get the items at the inn & hideout later in the game? (apologies if I sound silly)Nevermind!
Thank you, problem solved.
I hope to get to see more of the 'auxilary commander' in game. :)
I hope this helps you!
Thank you!>_<
This update was amazing!
I loved the new update congrats to the developers
Thanks a lot~! Thank YOU for playing ;)
Loved everything about this update! Still hoping for a rather fat/obese enemy that uses their heft to their advantage during the struggle portions sometime. That'd just be the massive icing on the cake for me! Loved all the encounters. ^^
Thanks for the kind words! I won't spoil what's coming in the future, but glad you liked things well enough for this one~!
is there anyway to transfer saves so i dont have to start right at the beginning again or no?
Yes, there's a save file transfer guide in the download. Should be named as such. It'll instruct you on what you need to do.
nevermind, i found the guide, looking forward to the updates!
I love this game so much, been on for too long, haven't slept going through the new update. But I am at the mine bats currently, and every time I try to present myself and the enemy goes through the dialogue, the game crashes. Any idea why?
Huh, that's a new one.
Can you confirm you're on the most recent hotfix? V0.307?
Does an error message appear, or does the game just completely crash? If there is a message, please screenshot it.
If there's any other information you can provide so we can look into it, that'd be much appreciated?
I believe I figured it out. It was an error with the saves. I think I was out of storage on my computer and it was bugging the saves. I will try to screenshot if it happens again.
OK, thank you. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again though!
This game was so much more than I expected. Very good work~
Thanks muchly~!
Hope that helps!
nwjs opened but no actual window came up ;-
Hey, sorry but we don't own Macs to test this method, so there isn't much we can do....

I'm having a bit of trouble with the enemies in the Slime Cavern-Underworld. They seem too strong. Any strategy advice?
I could potentially be under levelled, currently lvl 14.
Hope all this helps.
Heyo, its me again with my terrible fighting skills
Currently on the slime cavern task and ive fought the first dragon, but now im stuck on 20hp with 10 stamina and ive already collected the hidden vigour flask.
If anyone knows what to do, id love to hear
Ooof... if you're low on healing items, you might have to go back to the Inn and stock up. Don't forget to stock up whenever you're back at the Quiet Meadow. No sense having your Gold burning a hole in your pocket.
You CAN try and risk running back to the Inn if you want... or it might be better to reload a past save and buy up beforehand!
The more I read, the more I realize this game has some serious lore and world building. Not gonna lie, I'm tempted to see more of it.
At first I thought there'll be only scalies lol, so is there's any reasons why?
The main reason it's almost all scalies is 'cause... that's what we as devs like the most! That and anthro furry games tend to usually focus on big fuzzy wolves and whatnot, so... something different for a change!
There's probably other races out there, though! You might even meet them in the future, potentially. For now though I'm glad you enjoy all the lore and world-building! Hope you'll continue to look into things, examine things, and stick around for future updates!
It's a bad day for my computer to stop working
Oof... sorry to hear that.
Fingers crossed you can get it working again soon, and I'm not just saying that for Grove.
So when will there be a Chinese version.
Volunteers are working on it. We will make an announcement when it is completed!
That's great!
Thank you very much, I'm glad you think so~!
You have to talk to the wizard that is in the tavern where you sleep.
Can you confirm you unzipped / extracted the file after downloading it? If you don't do that, your saves won't write.
OMG, thank you, I forgot I had moved the files out of my extraction app
great update, i fell in love with some of the new characters. i'll sit and wait for part II!
Thank you!
I'm having some troubles, in the new quest of delivering packages someone gave me a bun-stick but I can't progress. What do I do ? I walked to the inn and nothing happenned
Check your Key Items. Everything you need to deliver is in there. The descriptions say who you need to deliver to and where they are.
You got this!
I did it, but now I'm stuck at the ancient tree quest, I just can't find it. Where is it?
Teleport to the 'jungle campsite', go to the right and up the vines. You want to keep going upwards and to the right as much as you can, cross stepping stones and up more vines.
Once you reach the top of the waterfall, head left and keep jumping... you should be able to figure out the path from there!
Sorry if I'm asking for help too many times but how do I get the skimpy outfit (i don t know if that's what it's called). I'm missing 1 outift.
Awesome game! Love this latest update. Looking forward to Dark Places Part II
Thank you~!
I have a quick question from earlier in the game. After I got the lever for the bridge a strage sound happens when you exit, and the door to that bar is locked. Is there a way to open it before you cross the bridge?
I'm afraid not, no. But there are suspicious things going on there... we'll touch on it soon enough, we promise.
Hope you have a great day
cheers.
Thanks mate. Apologies for me not knowing how things work
Have a great day and keep up the good work !
Oh jeez, no need to apologise, haha! I'm just glad to hopefully get you unstuck, and that you can maybe enjoy the rest of the game from here on out~!
Greetings!
How to install language patch?
I may have said it once, but I have to say it again
This game is masterpiece!
There is a lot improvement and new contents in this update.you guys did a great job.
Thanks very much~! Glad you thought so highly of it!
Heyyyyyy again!
I shared my opinions with you but I don't want to interfere in your creative process nor I mean any disrespect in any way.
game was good, wondering if there is a way to break the stances of enemys to fuck them back in a more dominant way
'fraid not, sorry. It doesn't really jive with the player character's personality or mindset at this point.
its understandable! still was quite enjoyable and cute
hmm i ended the dark places update and is was quite fun! now that i think about it when you said It doesn't really jive with the player character's personality or mindset the fact that grove background is a bit uknown are you guys planning to have a new game plus? i been thinking perhaps a diferent character in the same sircurstance it would give a lot of variety to the game and a good reason to replay once its been done!, another thing that i like to note its just a preference but i was hoping around an option to change the type of member the dragons have? perhaps after all, never been a big fan of the mushroom tip heh but hey! it you dont want to do that its okay! i enjoyed it nontheless hopefully when the time comes i would love to see the game in a finished state!
Maybe much later, when the game is finished, we might consider some 'special episodes' where you play as a different character. As for swapping the kind of penis the dragons have... I wouldn't count on it I'm afraid.
Thanks for playing.
i honestly was thinking like a new game plus sort of scenario, where entirely new character ends up in the same situation as grove, same path same story but often the personality and scenes are diferent as well as like the "class" like a "mage" sort of character after beating the game with a bit of a diferent personality but thats much much later i do understand
honestly that would require a lot of work but i think its mostly on the art and the writing since its the same sort of path in the end
so a lot of stuff wouldnt be needed
still i hope to see more special effects while figthing new and interesting enemys
and i hope i see more mechanics related to the themes they have on themselves
not sure if you accept suggestions but i got an idea of an enemy that gets an egg into grove and he just lays it mid battle making more enemys appear would be interesting like instead of the getting on and fucked is more of a extremely quick fuck and then constantly losing of tp until it reaches 0 and then getting the game over after the next atack, still its up to the dev team and the ideas you guys have so just take this as an enemy suggestion
Out of curiosity, when Grove introduces himself to the Auxiliary Commander, he nearly lets a title slip before correcting himself to 'freelancer'. Is that title found in any of the lore current found in the game or is it something that hasn't been revealed at all yet?
It has not been revealed yet, no. But good on you for keeping it in the back of your mind.
I think I may have found a clue after all - the unnamed soldier from the slug caves. Hmmm. Edit: As a result, I think I have a working theory about his past. If I'm right, I feel for him.
Hello. Can I ask? When will there be a patch with the Russian language?
I'm sorry, we have no estimated date for a Russian language patch. Some volunteers are working on it, but we do not know when it will be completed.
Ok. Thanks for replying. I wish you the best progress in the game
Take a look and follow the instructions and you should be just fine!
ohohoh didn't see that hehe. thank you very much.
have a good day
I have been playing this game since around v0.2 release, and I have a lot of fun with this!
- Ardolf <3
i love this game but i was wondering if you were going to make pre saves so people can get right into the new content because for some reason the game deleted my post main game save and i was just wondering if there was anyway youd make a save for recent updates.
nvm my computer moved the save files into different folders ;-;
Ah, glad you resolved the issue. Every patch download will need a save transfer unfortunately. Hope you enjoy what we've provided for the update!
- RegalBuster
Would it not be possible to code the game to put saves in the %appdata% folders instead of the game folder? That way you'd never have to move the saves with each successive update.
I love this so much the characters are so cute and well designed, the style has honestly given me so much inspiration to keep up drawing <3
From one artist to another... that's awesome! We hope you continue to be inspired by the doodles within Grove! Thanks for playing~
