I Found A Bug Also I Ate The Pear But After Moving To Progress I Got Stuck On One Of The Trees In The Game Cant Move And I Want To Keep Going With The Game Story
Hi there, been playing the game for a while now, absolutely love it (One of the few I keep and update, it's too good!)
Got a question though, is the method of changing the version the same as the one portrayed in the pdf/txt file about 0.122a applicable to updating in general? I didn't transfer last time to replay the game a different way on purpose, but now I want to keep those saves. Pretty much the same, right?
Also, I can't wait to see what you have in store for the cave wall crack, as well as (possibly?) the capital, and the continuation of the (not so) hidden lore books! Literally a 12/10 game, and Happy New Year to the team!
If you're talking about save compatibility, if your saves are from 0.122a and onward (has the persistent.rpgmaker file), then it should still work with 0.204, and the save guide will still apply.
If your version is from before 0.122a, it could still work but you will lose your gallery progress as the switches in game are different to the ones in those saves.
Hope this answers your question, but be sure to let me know otherwise.
I can't seem to find the way to the tent, only found the spots you can observe it from. Even tried to see if there's a path from the jungle. Any hints would be welcome.
With that said, really fun game, I have to pace myself so I don't tire of the game before it's completed. It is also quite refreshing to see how quickly things get patched, rather than having to wait for a full update for bugs to get fixed. Keep up the good work!
The tent across the river is inaccessible at the moment. Just a tease... but it's nice to see so many folks interested in getting there.
You're welcome, regarding the patches and bug fixes. We want to put forth something we can be proud of, after all. This is a passion project first and foremost.
I really like the bond that's going on as you work with Kuno, Rinnal and Jaler.
Jaler is my fav of the trio, being more stern yet appreciative. I do also like how the challenges like the blue/pink blocks and desert crossing is not *too* hard and you should get it eventually
The idea of exploring unknown lands and slowly seeing a settlement expanding is a neat touch to show how far you have come since the start of the game
Oh and, I really love those hypnotising cobra warriors....not that I am hypnotised....maybe
Thanks a lot for all the kind comments. It's always great to see when folks pick up on character traits and story vibes we are intending to put across.
about this game GROVE , l'm very love this game so much and l play 15 times play GROVE from Start begin to End . This game is amazing , well l guess this game gonna be on top one of this game . KEEP IT UP this game ,
oh l forget to tell you something , after l finish play 15 times in GROVE game , there is some secret new path that l didn't even see it , not only one there are many path . If you are planning update GROVE In 2022 , can you make one of these new for the update GROVE game that would be awesome.
* 10 out of 10 *
The one l'm very exciting that is the picture number one:
That all these picture l have collected . oh there one final that l need to tell you , l love all these characters that is Blacksmith , Rinnal , Jaler , Kuno , if would be great you make more gallery ( more scene ).
If you can't get into the desert yet, you need to head south. Go back to the Quiet Meadow, and take the bottom-left exit. Follow the path out to the coast, then head south through the trees.
Is there any way to buy items after setting out in the jungle? I made the mistake of not buying things before starting the quest and now I can't beat the big guy
There's a chance to return to the Inn halfway through the jungle, after you rescue li'l Kuno (the blue guy) from the river. The game should tell you that it's your chance to stock up before you continue.
If you've already set off on your journey with him though... you've missed your chance, I'm afraid...
If you're struggling with the big guy, I recommend searching around in the jungle area before heading into the wall. There should be a cleansing spring that can at least have you fighting-fit before you go to the boss.
I thought this game would be a 30 minute quick game to play but omg I was wrong, it feel's like a triple a game! lol, there's mush stuff to that it took me hours and hours the complete and so many sex different sex scenes that out right made this game the top number one for shore.
I haven't found anything super valuable from backtracking- but it's a good idea if you want to increase corruption (like presenting yourself to certain enemies)
just finished this build and its just as amazing as always and as a side note, the music in the quiet meadow (and the farm) and the cliffside forest makes me feel...nostalgic
First person who's commented on the music in game. None of it is originally composed, it's stuff we've found and selected, but it has been deliberate to inspire a calm mood... nice to know it worked on at least one person!
I kept trying to save my game and it kept getting deleted everytime I closed the game. In case you are having the same issue, just put all the files inside the ZIP into a different folder
...can't believe so many people are having this issue. You need to EXTRACT / UNZIP the game in order for saves to work, otherwise the game is 'read only'.
It gives you a new dream, it robs your choice of a non-lewd option during a particular scene, it grants access to the tent scene, and it 'enhances' a certain fitting scene with the blacksmith.
Nothing too much right now, but still early days as we test implementation.
During that particular scene, will it be obvious that the choice is not available due to your corruption being high enough? In addition, where is the tent would the tent scene take place?
When you have rescued the blacksmith and returned to the inn, talk to the blacksmith at his forge. Afterwards, the wizard at the inn should give you the choice to talk about titanium sources.
You might have just missed it / skipped it / ignored it though. Whatever the case, try going down the well in the bottom-right part of camp!
Depends on where it happens. If it's the desert or the 'digital world'... it's unfortunately a performance issue we're struggling to fix, since it doesn't actually effect either of the two devs' computers.
If it's happening somewhere else, it might be a problem on your end. Nobody else on the Discord has reported outright freezes, just lag.
Some comments on the sandstorm and cyber parts of the update.
Reaching the big building in the sandstorm only to find out that it's locked shut was very annoying, it's a guaranteed game over just for exploring the wrong part of the map towards what should be a point of interest. It could use some nearby shade.
The cyber part encourages save-scumming. One failure can set you way back, so the experience would be more fun if there were mid-map checkpoints.
A bit more on the nitpicky side, some events that have the appearance of animated sparkles don't have the "direction fixed" box ticked, which means if you interact with them from the right they'll turn into little smoke clouds.
Map-making tip when it comes to autotiles: when placing map tiles, hold shift to place a tile that looks like it's connected to the same one in all 8 cells around it. Changing one of these 8 cells (without holding shift) will only update the corresponding side of the tile in the center. If a detail is hard to pull off in the area you're working with:
Make it somewhere else on the map where you have the space you need
Select the tiles you want to copy by right clicking, you can drag before you release the click to select an area instead of a single tile
In the area where you actually want to place the tiles, hold shift then left click to paste the tiles exactly like you made them
It's little things like broken roofs that can look better, or the corrupted and non-corrupted walls being disjointed between each other, but if you have time to go for these details your maps should look even better.
Only if you made a LOT of save-spots along the way (especially before choices) and then go back to them and choose differently... I'm currently at 40+ save-games in my list...
Nope, pc. It actually loaded and it was very laggy, I managed to get to the next area by chance and finished the build.
Another laggy area was in the second VR area (not sure what to call it) the big room where the floor switches colors, it would lag a lot once the color changed and go back to normal speed when it switched back.
PS. I read your other reply about the desert lag, changing the window size didn't make a difference when lag happened. I'm gonna test with disabling UI effects.
The performance in some sections of the game is AWFUL. Unplayably bad, ~2FPS. I'm running on more than capable hardware. This occurs in the desert sandstorm section (only when not in shade) and again during the computer segment which follows that (but only intermittently, I think it's tied to the flashing tiles somehow). Please fix this ASAP, it's nigh impossible to get through a timing based section when the game has wildly bad timing.
Trust me when I say we'd like to fix it, but finding the actual cause of the problem has proven very difficult. We've had people running high end hardware that lags, and people running low spec computers that run it just fine. Whatever the issue is, it's hard to pin down., and it doesn't actually occur for me or my dev-partner.
Please make sure you're playing the most recent version of the game, for one thing: v0.203
All I can suggest is to make sure you've extracted the game fully. Make sure you're running the game off of your harddrive, not an external device or an online cloud solution. Close other programs, play the game windowed and shrink the size down, use mouse controls to aid you through the computer segment.
Finally, if you have a save file from before the desert, try going back to your room at the inn, activating the book in the middle of the room, and disabling UI effects. That may also help.
oh l have something new for you , there is something that l'm very exciting . In the slime dragon cave , there is a large cave , l wonder what is something inside in the cave ? . It would be great you make update GROVE game and make somthing inside the cave from slime dragon cave , make something like a trap , add some new monster , something cool like control hypnosis the player . If you make this thing , that would be awsome and some scene ^^
First off, thanks for taking the time to make such a game, its an awesome play and I find myself enjoying every little hint at a new scene. Stuff like new sprites and enemies is always exciting.
-Jaler dies in two rounds to the Dervish Blade attack cause crits are fun
-On from that, is the totally not Izike scene canon to the universe? IE we gonna see corrupt Izike doing stuff later on or was that a one time thing?
-Dug through files, found a room title named Autocrat's Husk did I just not look hard enough or is that future content?
-Latchers override slug bad ends if they get your stamina down during a fight with the slugs. Not sure if thats intentional.
-When succumbing to heat in the desert you can engage a mirage and it will save you from going down if you win
-Slugs are amazing, m o a r s l u g, on that note will there be an alt game over if the slugs recapture you enough? Right now it just seems like an extra corruption abuse, considering you can get captured unlimited times and not get bad ended. I only ask about it getting added cause I saw the scene with Kuno get added, same with slime dad.
-Hole in the back of slime cave? Still coming feature or did I miss something to get in?
Overall the update was amazing please keep making content, I looked forward to every bad end and enemy grapple encounter there was. As well as looking for all the hidden bits and pieces...I'm guessing the Jaler scene was a quick reference to Izike Enterprises? :P
Hole in the back of the slime cave, Autocrat's Husk, and more will be coming in future updates. We planned and began a lot of stuff with this update, but we won't be implementing those things until later...!
And... the mercenary commander definitely isn't a cameo, here's there to stay. If you're thinking of something else as 'Izike', then I assure you it's just a coincidence. No drone OVERLORDs in GROVE... yet.
Thanks for playing though, and for the excitement and interest in more! Hope we'll be able to please you when that time comes
Is there any way to get the Slave Tatters without gaining corruption? What about the Slime Slab? Also, will there be a feature later in the game that allows us to remove our corruption somehow?
It's not in-game yet, but for people who want to collect more items without doing corrupt things, there will absolutely be a method for getting things you missed.
Keep an eye open for future updates, and I hope you enjoy playing the non-corrupt path!
Thank you so much! I definitely plan to keep playing, and I appreciate all the hard work and love this game has. While the spicy scenes are good, I'm a story fan through-and-through, and I'm intrigued! Good luck.

I Found A Bug Also I Ate The Pear But After Moving To Progress I Got Stuck On One Of The Trees In The Game Cant Move And I Want To Keep Going With The Game Story
I think I found a minor bug.
My corruption is so high, it's not displaying how much corruption I have.
Known bug. We won't be fixing it yet, since there's no content for more than 10 corruption yet.
good job on the game dude you did a awesome job
had question where is the captive tentacles? location
Shouldn't do, no.
how to unlock this chest?
You need 10 corruption points, and to visit the mercenary in the camp just west of the inn. Try and enter his tent a few times...
Hi there, been playing the game for a while now, absolutely love it (One of the few I keep and update, it's too good!)

It absolutely does answer my question, thank you so very much!
The Blue/Pink Blocks for Barrier 3 in the Desert are kicking my ass
Other than that 10/10
How do you get into the crack that appears into the wall of the room where you rescue the blacksmith?
Not accessible... yet.
Do keep that area in mind.
I can't seem to find the way to the tent, only found the spots you can observe it from. Even tried to see if there's a path from the jungle. Any hints would be welcome.

can someone tell me how to unlock all the scene in the last section of the memories pls?
Same, I have most unlocked but some I just can't figure out.
about this game GROVE , l'm very love this game so much and l play 15 times play GROVE from Start begin to End . This game is amazing , well l guess this game gonna be on top one of this game . KEEP IT UP this game ,

All of groves problems would be resolved if he just wore a chastity cage :P
Jokes aside, amazing update
Could someone tell me what to do after fighting the snake in the desert valley cave
If you did the bandit quest , you can sit in the chair in the same room as the snake
what a bandit and what a chair excuse my ignorance jajajaja pd:I don't speak English very well, I speak Spanish
If you can't get into the desert yet, you need to head south. Go back to the Quiet Meadow, and take the bottom-left exit. Follow the path out to the coast, then head south through the trees.
Thank you very much, it was very helpful
The slime suit is one you can go back to get even after you've finished the game!
I've tried to figure how to burn the slime suit but I just keep getting the part for the wizard.
Is there any way to buy items after setting out in the jungle? I made the mistake of not buying things before starting the quest and now I can't beat the big guy

Okay thanks
When you complete the newest content in the update you gain access to the gallery in your inn room!
haven't played yet since I only own a Mac however the art from the screenshots look stunning!! hope to play in the future <3
Check out the latest update! An experimental MacOS build is now live!
I thought this game would be a 30 minute quick game to play but omg I was wrong, it feel's like a triple a game! lol, there's mush stuff to that it took me hours and hours the complete and so many sex different sex scenes that out right made this game the top number one for shore.
great game!!!!!
10 out of 10!
Thanks a lot! Glad you had such a great time with our game!
any chance you plan on making this game for Mac sometime in the future?
You dont have to answer this but, should we backtrack or is it not worth it?
:)
I haven't found anything super valuable from backtracking- but it's a good idea if you want to increase corruption (like presenting yourself to certain enemies)
just finished this build and its just as amazing as always

Still, even if it isn't composed by you guys, you still chose very well
like, did you go to the desert with the blacksmith and you couldnt go further? if yes then go back to quiet meadow and go south
how do you raise corruption?
do lewd things without getting a game over. e.g. the fruit in the crate, the slime cave, losing to slime dragon on full stamina
I kept trying to save my game and it kept getting deleted everytime I closed the game. In case you are having the same issue, just put all the files inside the ZIP into a different folder

Hi. Is there also lag in the desert for someone?
Does corruption levels have any ingame effects besides that one scene at the tent?
It gives you a new dream, it robs your choice of a non-lewd option during a particular scene, it grants access to the tent scene, and it 'enhances' a certain fitting scene with the blacksmith.

how do you ask the wizard for titanium sources if i dont have the option to?
please answer tyvm!~

You might have just missed it / skipped it / ignored it though. Whatever the case, try going down the well in the bottom-right part of camp!
I've got a freezing issue that no matter what I do I can't shake, even restarting with new saves, is this a problem on my end or the game?

Sorry that's not super useful information.
It hapoens when I first enter the desert, I finish the last bit of dialog, then the bar goes away slowly and I'm heavily lagged

When I get to the dunes the game basically softlocks, the screen is dark and I can't do anything. Otherwise enjoying the new content.
Don't suppose you're playing on mobile, by any chance?
Nope, pc. It actually loaded and it was very laggy, I managed to get to the next area by chance and finished the build.

Changing that option didn't seem to do anything, the desert ran just as bad.
you can get loots by defeating enemies, but you can only do so the first time you enter an area. i guess it's designed this way?
It lags in the desert are causing the game to be unplayable, pls fix this
Please view my response to CharmingMagician's comment, just below yours.

how much corruption did should you have to gain slave tatters, and where can I get it?
