Prowler v0.109 patch released


Hello hello, another day another patch:

- Downgraded NW.js from 0.92 to 0.72 for compatibility with Windows 7 - 8.1 devices.

- Increased size of scaletree farm interaction box.
- Reduced STUN protection scaling from 2% reduction per DEF, to 1% per DEF.
- Added additional speed-resets post escape / rest to prevent state-based speed reductions from lingering.
- Added HUD removal redundancy to prevent cases of darkened screens even when associated equip is removed.
- Added stun removal exception for 'Old Trap Chestbinds', 'Reinforced O.T.C' and 'Leather Chestbinds'.

- Added missing Writhing Mass 02 CG to the Gallery.
- Adjusted QTE text from 'mash' to 'press'.
- Adjusted Time-Out safety check to use a forced map leave instead of the option variant to prevent players getting stuck on a black screen.
- Adjusted cooking pot interaction to not automatically apply the upgrade until the campfire has been build.

- Fixed inconsistent Whip stm regen, causing it to stop regenerating after one a single swing, due to stm adjustments calculated before higher stm cost calculated (Likely cause of the final boss STM issue).
- Fixed lingering transparency when dashing into the tutorial end trigger event.
- Fixed Sentry gabs not translating despite having the translation option active.
- Fixed Trapper-Friendly dialogue from appearing on props despite player.
- Fixed Tonic Focusers occasionally providing two tonic effects at once due to selection variable not skipping the overall tonic selection event (selecting tonic 1 would still check through tonics 2, 3, 4 etc).

- Fixed Heavy Glowing Piercings not being able to be disenchanted.
- Fixed Trap/Misc CG menu missing 'Return' text.
- Fixed incorrect 'Spitter-step' state description (adjusted from 15% to 20%).
- Fixed Poacher Drone interactions in the Right-Up Savannah node.

- Removed the ability to quit out of the final boss defeat 'Leave' option, rendering you stuck on the plinth.

In this patch when you get capped by the stingers in the swamp you become unable to travel back out of the swamp, i can go back in the nest and deeper but not back to the starting area

For some odd reason my game has begun unexpectedly closing itself randomly after updating to v.109, and I can't go back to v.108 since I already deleted that version

That's... very strange, the first time anyone's reported anything like that. Not really sure what to say. Does an error message pop up at all?

We'll look into it as best we can but it's going to be a bit hard to tell strictly over internet comments.

It just closes itself with no error message. I checked event viewer as well, but there's nothing.

I think the NW.js downgrade is making the game stutter on my windows 10 machine.^^; I rolled back to v1.08 and it's running good again....

Yeah... unfortunately it's a double-edged sword. What runs better for some people runs worse for others and vice versa... we're really not sure what the best solution is aside from maybe uploading multiple versions...

i dont know if i do something wrong or its a bug 0.109v Kivuli image on the right is all the time in aroused state - pink cheeks and heave breath (i think) with no corruption or excitement bar

If possible, could you please share a screenshot of your Status screen? The screen that shows all of Kivu's active effects. We should be able to tell if it's a bug or not.

OK... interesting... I don't see anything that should cause this but it's rather hard to investigate.

Could you try and either retrace your most recent actions that you think caused this... OR, if you have some kind of cloud share like Google Drive or Onedrive, could you upload your most recent save file so we can take a look at it?

Just so you know, your save files in the actual game data folders are N+1 of how they appear in-game (save 1 is technically the autosave slot, so slot 1 is save 2, slot 2 is save 3 etc.)

Telling true it would be hard becouse i dont know when it started.

I saw that it looks like that for a long time but noticed that there is no reason for it later and i use two save slots so i dont have any from before it happened and after.

Bug report for ya. In v108... The shaman came to my camp for the first time, and I lit the lanterns, then he began speaking of the Gardeners. However, after I hit A on the controller to read the next lines, it sped through the rest of the text very quickly until the task completed. I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with my controller, and I was not pressing anything.

The same thing happened to me too but the text box didn't go away so I had to restart my game
